Is Amoxycillin Safe For A Person With Penicillin Allergy?

Question: can u take amoxicillan if I have a slight penicillin allergy?? I always use amoxicillan but I read some labs taken a few years ago n it said I have a level 1 allergy to pennicilin. ..

Amoxycillin belongs to the same class of drug as penicillin and hence should be best avoided as far as possible.
Level 1 allergy also means you are allergic so, Penicillin or any drug of it's class should be best avoided.

so what antibiotics should be considered. I have onion allergy so I was told to stay away from sulfur
