What Is This Lump On Chest That Happened After Hitting The Floor ?

Hi,

About 2-3 weeks ago I fell and my chest hit the floor. Since I had a pain when doing certain movements. I associated the pain to a pulled muscle and have been massaging the area but it doesnt seem to go away.
I have noticed a lump right where it hurts, what could it be?

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
Any lump caused after trauma is not that serious.Mostly,it could be Haematoma, collection of blood or traumatic fat necrosis.
If the lump is not subsiding, please get it examined and go for evacuation or drainage of the content.
Till then take an Antibiotic like Amoxycillin and anti inflammatory drug
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
