Brief Answer:
these injections are of no use

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case. I do not advised you to go for any injections in the knee. These are not going to give you any long lasting benefit. You have already seen that steroids are effective for one month. Stem cell and visco supplement are not going to work more than that.
I would recommend you to plan for knee replacement surgery which gives you permanent relief from this pain. If you do not want surgery than do not take injections as they can increase your pain.
Avoid sqautting, sitting cross leg. Physiotherapy, knee cap and hot water is also helpful.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
Thanks

If I would go forward with knee replacement surgery, what is your opinion of having both knees replaced at the same time versus doing one at a time? I realize that there would be added risks, but what are they? Also, I am also interested in when you wrote "... injections as they can increase your pain". Why would that be, just wondering, not doubting. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
both knee one time is better

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
if you can go ahead with both knee same time. Your doctor will assess you and see if that is good according to your body. Also your blood pressure and sugar should be normal.
when I said that steroids can cause increase pain it is due to cartilage damage.
You can send me your x rays and blood report and I can suggest you if you are fit for both knee surgery at same time.
thanks
