Brief Answer:
Details given below

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HCM.

We are routinely doing TURP. PAE had its advantage also that it is fine under local anaesthesia, where as TURP under spinal.

It is actually difficult to comment on the surgery without actually examining the patient.
The doctors in charge of your case, will have discussed the situation, and feel that this may be the most suitable treatment. It dropping on the doctor as well, with which procedure he is confident with.
However, it is very important that you have had the opportunity for your opinion to be taken into account, and that you feel quite certain that you want the procedure to go ahead.

So I would suggest you to have discussion with consultant and decide.

Hope this helps.
Take care.

Hi,

Good to hear from you.

The specialist will be aware, but it depends on which procedure he is confident of. As mentioned earlier it is better to put your opinion with the specialist before treatment is planned.

Hope this helps
