Does Lupron Cause Muscle Weakness?

Question: I have been on Lupron for 12years because of Prostate Cancer. I have a lot of muscle weakness, especially in my legs. Could this be caused by the Lupron ?

Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have been on Lupron Depot for cancer of Prostate and feeling severe weakness in lower limbs.

Lupron taken over a long period has side effects like generalized weakness and more specifically lower limbs .

Please consult your medical oncologist for assessment and get frequent test of Serum PSA and Serum Testosterone done at regular intervals .

Taking multivitamins and high protein diet will help to reduce weakness .
