Question: My brother was given Lupron depot 6 months shot for prostate cancer in May 2015 and is now an invalid and doctors don't know what to do. This at the XXXXXXX Clinic. How long does this drug stay in one's system?

The dose for 6 monthly interval is 45 mg. And it has its efect for this much period. It is also given for 3 months and 4 months period. accordingly, the dose is low
