Do Weakness And Headaches Suggest TIA?

Question: I have had 4 strokes in the past. I feel I maybe experiencing a TIA. I feel weak and have a blinding headache. I have taken all my regular pill plus and Excedrin for migraine headaches. I was snake bit by a small copperhead snake a week ago today. I had no extra swelling or any medical issues at the time. Later about 4 days later my hands began to swell. I could not fully close my hands -- that has passed. Now I have shaking in my arms and lets, a blinding headache, and lost the need for food intake, also my stole was coffee color brown or black.

I have had these symptoms for 12 to 15 hours.

The symptoms you are having are suggestive of possible TIA especially if you have had oscillations in blood pressure.

I advise to measure your blood pressure, and record the results for a reference.

If you have not run heart check up recently, I advise to get immediate consultation with cardiologist and neurologist.

I wrote an complete email yesterday. I had a promise of a answer shortly I do not guess you guys work that way. I paid my $15 and have the same problem. I was snake bit by a copperhead a week ago yesterday. I have serious pain in both hands (not able to close them). And my headaches not as much as my 4 strokes; but, it is continuous feeling pressure and ache.

So sorry for the late reply due to my XXXXXXX clinical overload.

I am also sorry to know that your symptoms have not improved. As your hands are swollen to the point you can't open, then, go immediately to ER for immediate assistance.

You need to take prescription antibiotics as infection of snake bit site is suspected. Try to clean the bite site with warm water and soap.

Please go to ER as soon as possible.
