Do Cleocin And Medrol Cause False Positive Test Results For Cocaine?

Question: Hello; I am currently on numerous meds.cleocin,medrol,amitriptyline,abilfy,lamictal,trazodone,lexapro.Creams using..econazole nitrate,triamcinolone also forgot oxycodone,I failed a urine drug test,testing positive for cocaine. I do not use cocaine what could have cause this false read?

Antibiotics such as amoxicillin (not with other antibiotics such as the cleocin), coca leaves, use of topical cocaine for pain relief in dental procedures.
There are not many medications that can cause a false positive for cocaine.
None of the above are known to cause false positive reactions.

Drug testing can be performed using tests called immnoassays ,which are used most commonly or GC-MS.

GC- MS stands for gas chromatography , mass spectrometry. This test is more accurate and can be used in suspected false positives to determine if a particular substance has actually be used.
This test can confirm that you do not use cocaine
