dear sir
hello & my best wishes for a speedy recovery.
waking up with headaches in a 68 year male person
my suggestions are

1 check your blood pressure regularly . most of these headaches are hypertensive

2 early morning headaches with/without vomitings needs MRI BRAIN to rule out any
intracranial lesions

3 if MRI BRAIN is also normal , then mostly anxiety depression are the main causes . try some anxiolyics & analgesics

4 . your dinner should be as light as possible . heavy dinner also causes these type of headaches

5 minimum gap betweeen dinner & sleep should be 2 hrs .

6 avoid constipation

thanx
hope this answers your querries
