Question: My Morther is 75. He is generally very healthy. Couple of times she has seen a thin line of blood in the stool. What could be the cause?

Hi,

Thanks for writing to XXXXXXX I understand your worry.
U should be worried if
1.     Her appetite is poor.
2.     She has lost weight noticeably.
3.     Constipation alternating with loose stools.
Otherwise, it could only be a hard stool that could have caused this.
Kindly take medical advice if above symptoms are present or the bleed continues….
