Hello and welcome to HCM, Flu is usually caused by viruses. Viral infections are usually self limiting. You can take antipyeritic (medicine for fever). If you are also experiencing body pains, you can take analgesic also (pain killer). If the flu is superimposed by bacterial infection, you need o take an appropriate antibiotic.
