Dear madam i understand your concern.there is lots of expermental work going on this in my feild of diabetes ginger reduces the high blood sugar in different subjects when it is given in form of extract.usually blood sugar will reduce by insulin but ginger is not having insulin.this made them to think that ginger increase burning of your sugar,so most propably it increase metabolism. exercise also
