Yes, Cyst on the brain can be severe unless proved otherwise. As the brain is in the closed-cavity of the skull , even a small edema can cause big problems. Neurosurgeon alone can tell you the severity , need of surgery and / or medicines. Consult only Neurosurgeon and no one else. What are your symptoms? Why was it detected?
