Blood Pressure 133 Over 106 With The History Of Brain Cysts
blood pressure 133 over 106 29 yr old female with history of brain cysts I have had two brain cysts that were operated in feb of last yr and now have a shunt put in my spin to drain the fluid levels. I took my blood pressure tonight and it was 133 over 106. was wondering if my previous history would cause my blood presure to be that high. Or should i call my Nero surgeon to get looked at they might be more problems?

it probably means that either the tube is blocked or brain is secreting too much fluid.What are the other symptoms-head spinning? vomiting if yes please visit the neurosurgeon without much delay.

You should always write all your physical complaints along with investigations
what sort of cyst were operated?.... blood pressure rise can be an early feature but it should be correlated with your physical complaints.....can be due to raised tension in brain ....shud certainly see urr doc
