Dear Shar, Are you sure it is soreness, or is it stiffness due to the increased rest you may have taken during the earlier infection? Also, panafcortelone is a steroid, and using it for more than 5-7 days may cause weakness of muscles, so please consider that as well. - Dr. Taher

Hello, apart from giving some soothing effect, vicks wont help much.There is no harm in using it though.For chest and throat infection you need to take course of antibiotics and then recheck with doctor to see if infection has cleared.For anxiety a short trail of antidepressants and counselling can prove helpful.Regards
