I Quit Smoking 8 Months Ago, Stood One Month Smoke

i quit smoking 8 months ago, stood one month smoke free but then started smoking occasionaly like 5 per day. then i totally quit 3 months ago. and i'm clean for 3 months. since when i quit(8months ago) my singing voice started to crack a lot, specially on my high notes above (Eb4-E4) and my throat feels strained, some say your voice needs 7-8 months to recover. do i happened to have nodules or pupils? or gastric reflux? or i just need some time adjusting my singing voice without mucus caused by cigars?
