i have been experiencing rapid heartbeats every time i go to sleep especially when I am dreaming. Lately i haven't slept well waking up feeling like my heart is pounding which scares me, that has been going on for the last 2 weeks. I am 45 years old keep myself in shape by working out 4 to 5 days a week. I do not understand why i am having this experience. My last doctor visit was in July. I was referred to a cardiologist and I was given clean health bill. However i do have panic/anxiety attacks lately more than usual. I usually get them 3 to 4 times a year but now I seems to get them 2 times a week. Since then i have stopped exercising until i see a doctor again.
