No. Most cholesterol in your body is manufactured in your own liver and the correlation between your diet and cholesterol level isn't that simplistic or straightforward. Only eating a fibre-rich diet with lots of fruit and veg, plus regular exercise will bring it down - unless you take cholesterol-lowering drugs. Surely it's better to know the truth so you can be prescribed medication if you need it.
