Would Suspicious Densities In Both Upper Lobes Be A Serious Problem?
I got my Xray results which says: There are suspicious densities in both upper lobes. Heart is not enlarged. Hemidiaphragms, sinuses, soft tissues and visualize osseous structure are intact. IMPRESSION: suspicious densities both upper lobes. Suggest apicolordotic view for further evaluation. Please explain further. Would this be a serious problem?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Varinder's Response
Hello,
Lateral view was suggested by doctor to get the better view from other dimension. You should be abscessed by TLC DLC ESR and blood sugar level and sputum evaluation for tuberculosis.
If everything comes normal, I will suggest a High-resolution computed tomography (HRCT).
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Varinder Joshi
