Would A Pregnancy Show Up In A Test Despite The Arm Implant?

Hi. i was just wondering if you can help me please? i have an implant in my arm but i am getting all the signs that i am pregnant? i already have four children so i know waht it feels like to bw pregnant. MMy sex rives has gone up and two of my children are being wire aroun me. one being clingy and wont leave me alone and the other one being moddy. I went to the sex clinic they di a test and it come back neg. i have also one about four test at home, all have come back neg too. woulsd it show on a test that i was pregnant with the implant or would it only show in a blood test? i hope you can help me?

Hi there, I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

First of all do not panic.

As you have mentioned that all your urine pregnancy tests are negative, you can assume that you are not pregnant.

After fitting the contraceptive implant, it starts working within 7 days, so be assured about its efficiency as a contraceptive method.

Still , in case of doubt blood beta HCG test and USG will be of help.

Your symptoms can be due to progesterone hormone in the implant. I will suggest you to indulge in a healthy diet and regular exercise regimen. Include more portions of fruits, salads and vegetables in daily diet. Drink plenty of water iin the day. Avoid deep fried foods, bakery products and refined sugars. Avoid substance abuse if any. Start on Folic acid, Vitamin B 12 , long acting form of Vitamin B 6, vitamin E and evening primrose oil supplements on daily basis at least for next 3 months. This will help to reduce your symptoms.

Please get your implant checked at least once every 4 months.
