Will the black spots on lips be neurofibromatosis?
My 2 month old baby developed black skin on upper and lower lips. Also developed a light brown spot near his right nipple. I am very much worried why this happen. The black color on lips is become very visible. I am worried is my kid have some major skin disease like Neurofibromatosis type I. Please help
Black spots on lower lips may be normal. Don't worry, it may be due to dryness, hormonal influence or drug toxicity in mother milk.
Treatment is not required. The initial milk baby gets is more watery and lower in fat, it will help to return his lips to the normal color! until that, don't wipe the lips and don't apply any topicals.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
