Will The Baby Feel Any Pain After A Cast On The Leg?

I just found out that my 2 day old grand daughter has a stress factor on her left leg due to the baby was breach during pregnancy. The doctors are putting a splint and will go home with a cast. Is it normal or will she be ok? Does the baby feel any pain? How long is the recovery?

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. Rather than pain, child may have some discomfort but they will get used to it. It will take minimum of 4 weeks to heal. Once bones heal well baby will be normal. You may have to do some physiotherapy after cast removal.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing your child good health.
