Will The CoQ10 Be Going To Effect Follicle?

Hi Doctor, I was with CoQ10 for 7 months and my nurse asked my to stop it yesterday night coz I took my HCG this morning. I totally forgot to stop taking CoQ10 and I took twice after my needle. I am scared now. Is this going to effect on my eggs. Please give me and answer. Thank you so much.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
CoQ10 is a substance similar to vitamin. It is utilised to produce energy your body needs for cell growth and maintenance. It also functions as an antioxidant, which protects the body from damage caused by harmful molecules.
So in your case, it helps to keep and develop the healthy follicles.
Once HCG shot is given, there is no need to take it as it would have already contributed towards maturing the follicles before itself.
However, it is ok if you have taken a dose after HCG shot. Don't have to worry much. It will not affect your eggs. You may stop it for now.
All the best.
