Will Surgical Removal Of Chalazion Cause Scarring?

Hello. My 2 year old daughter,35lbs keeps getting reocurring chalazions, about ever 5 months.She has had them surgically removed. Will this cause scarring? Is there any sort of antiseptic eyedrop that can be used constantly. I am afraind that these infections have become resistant to the medications. Toberex and oral antibiotics that

Well recurring chalazion in 2 yr old , needs to be evaluated thoroughly. Conjunctival approach to chalazion does not leave scar especially in children surgical wounds heal well.
But the concern is recurring chalazion : get refraction status, look for dandruff,lid abnormalities and maintain ocular hygiene ( cut hair short,sclape health, prevent frequent fiddling of eyes with dirty hands).

And chalazion in not infection, it is granulomatous inflammation to altered lipid and blockage of meibomian gland ducts.

You can try warm compresses to treat and prevent chalazion.

Oral antibiotics dose not help unless it is secondarily bacterial infected.
