Will Eating Roasted Pigeon Cause Raised Cholesterol Levels?

I enjoy eating roasted pigeon so much and I am 56 years old. I am afraid that I might have cholestrol over the limit if I keep eating the roasted pigeon. Now I can only control to eat one every other day. will it be o.k. as I heard pigeon contains lots of cholestrol

Hello and thank you for using HCM.I carefully read your question and I understand your concern.

I will try to explain you something and give you my opinion.

You should know that rosted pigeon does contain high cholesterol. In general red meat, animal foods does have high cholesterol. Vegetables, green foods has low cholesterol levels.

Eating rosted pigeon every day might rise your cholesterol level even though this is strongly related with genetic and metabolic factors.

So, in my opinion you should do a cholesterol level check up.

I would suggest to reduce rosted pigeon in twice a week, increase vegetables and start regular physical activity like walking minimaly 40 minutes every day.

Doing this simple thinks will halp you to stay in better shape.
