hi doctor! I am 27 years old female and i m facing sudden acne breakout over the cheeks and side face.. I applied clindasil gel they healed but left red spots on my cheeks.. Nw i m using deriva Cms gel.. And taken azithromycin od ..wld it help? m worried about the marks .coz i never had such acne before..nt even in my teenage.. 20 days and more tym a breakout takes to heal :(

The treatment you are not taking is quite all right, I suggest you continue with it. Acne or pimples is a very common condition seen due to the hormonal changes occurring in your body. Do not worry about it :-) Even if it does reduce, chances are that you may get another bout of acne over your face. Hence it is more important that you avoid fiddling or pressing the lesions since it will leave scars and pigmentation which takes long time to go.
Do provide detailed history regarding any medications you are taking, marital history and your menstrual history. Do follow up with good clear photographs of the lesions for a better and specific solution:-)
