Will Bleeding Cause Any Problems In Pregnancy?

hello doctor .. my wife is 6.5 weeks pregnant and she started taking susten vt 100 ( vaginal inserts) during last 12 days twice daily.. but from yesterday 11 p.m mild vaginal bleeding started.. she also took hcg 5000iu injection two times in 2 weeks. is their any problem to the pregnacy? we are very much worried about the bleeding..

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion the bleeding during pregnancy might be due to various causes like bleeding from cervix or low lying placenta or excess physical strain or forceful intercourse.If the ultrasound is normal and placenta is not low lying then you need not worry.It might be cervical bleeding.So consult doctor and get an ultrasound done to know the pregnancy status and take medicines to stop bleeding.Avoid physical strain and intercourse.Dont worry.
