Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to HCM and thanks for your query.
Mefanorm (Mefanemic acid ) is not advisable in small children. Since your child has taken a significant overdose he should be kept under observation. Also it would be advisable to do a hemogram, liver function test and kidney function test to be sure that no harm has been done.
Hopefully your child would be fine but take care to see that medicines are kept out of reach of children.
