Will A Stage3 Liver Disease Patient Also Be Diagnosed With Cirrhosis?

Good evening, i am so confused with my boyfriend s diagnosis. H e had hep c for 40 yrs and did nothing. He drank and did drugs back in the day. I have only known him for 3 yrs and he had started drinking and then did cocaine. He says he has stage3 liver disease but not cirrhosis yet. Is that possible?

Stage 3 of liver disease is the stage of cirrhosis which is irreversible stage . So your friend has definitely cirrhosis and you should insist on him to take care of his condition cause he well rapidly develop a liver failure if doesn't quit drinking.
