Will A Dime At The Site Of Injecting Morphine Into The Blood Go Away With Time And Is This Drug Life Threatening?

i don't use intravane drug use, but my friend does. we got some morphine 30's and i allowed him to shoot me up. (he had shot me up once before with dilaudid, and results were fine a week ago). Stupid, I know. But when he shot me up with the morphine there was no blood at first pull, he tweaked it to get blood to shoot up, and when he finally did that he proceeded to inject the morphine. It burned like fire. All other injections (4 others, dilaudid) there was no pain when the drug went into my body, but as the morphine went through the needle into my arm it hurt like fire and still does. i didn't even get any relief or buzz. Now three days later I still have a lump the size of a dime on my left interior elbow were injection took place, and have constant level three pain going from my thumb to the site of injection at inner elbow.
Will this go away with time? I plan on never shooting up drugs again, it was a fluke.
Is this life or arm threatening? Will I need to see a doctor about this?
It is not red but it is bruised and blue.
Thanks, and I know I'm a dumbass.

Hi,

I feel sorry that you were so weak to shot a morphine while your body does not need it at all.

At the same time, I am happy to come to know that you have learned the lesson and will not do a shot again.

The blue lump you have at the site of injection is a sign of blood clot. I suggest to apply cold compresses to the site for a couple of days.

Then, if the lump will be still there after a couple of days, then, should apply heparin cream to "dissolve" the blood clot.

If you will not see any improvement, then, I suggest to consult a physician for further evaluation.

Please have more respect of your body! Don't throw it away like a rubbish!
