Will Mifepristone Affect The Future Pregnancy?

Hi Doctor, Good Day! My wife has missed her period for last 1 month when we consulted the doctor She confirmed saying that my wife is pregnent. As we want avoid this pregnency doctor has suggested to take Kit of mifepristone &misoprostol tablets . Just want to ask a question, will this affect my wife s health..? will this also affect the future pregnecy..? Please advise..

Understand your concern
Mifepristone followed by misoprostol is safe and effective treatment for termination of early pregnancy, if it is done under the proper advice and regulation of gynecologist. Failure ate is only 2-5 %. It cause bleeding just more than period, abdominal cramp, tiredness and headache like side effects. It will remain for 3-5 days after using pill.
It will not affect the future pregnancy if done under proper guidance and sterile condition. But repeated use can affect the pregnancy.
Post abortion advice: Proper rest, healthy diet, analgesic tablet. maintain pelvic hygiene, follow up by USG at 14th day.
