Why The Menstrual Periods Are Missing?

Hi I have copper coil fitted for 9minths. I am few days late with cycle. But past 2 weeks I had alot of clear discharge. And 2weeks ago had sugns of urune infection but nothing came of it (drunk lots water and it eased of) at tiolet alot. Feel my urine is stronge. But still no periods. Am very regular.

even though I is very rare, occasionally the copper IUD can fail and a pregnancy can occur. so if your period does not come at all in the next week or so, you should definitely get a pregnancy test just to make sure you aren't pregnant.

if the test is negative and you still don't have your period, there are many reasons that could explain it. a urine infection can sometimes delay your me prior a little bit, as the stress of the illness can delay your period a little. so if your periods return in a week or two it was probably just a one time event due to illness and no reason to worry too much.

however, if your periods still don't return and you are not pregnant, you should see your doctor for a full workup to figure out why you stopped having periods.
