Why My Breasts Are Tender And Leaking Milk From It?

Hi there, I have recently been experiencing my breasts leaking milk and tender, my stomach is harder than normal with a weird fluttering sensation sometimes and my period is late by a week. I have taken a pregnancy test and it came back negative. What else could it be? Or could the test been wrong?

Hello,

Testing too early can provide false negative results. So please repeat the home pregnancy test if you have not gotten your period in next week.
If the test is still negative, follow up with your primary provider. The detailed endocrinological evaluation would be needed at that point.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal, General & Family Physician
