Why Is The Embryo Not Detected In The Scan?

hi, i got my periods on 10th sep 2011. I have all symptioms of being pregnant. But i had 2 negetive urine pregnancy tests. Ultrasuond also doctor was not able to find anything. She said i may or maynot be pregnant. She gave me Deviry 10 mg tablets for 5 days. If i am pregnant wil it affect my kid? What may be the reason for not detecting embryo in Scan?

Hi,
I understand your concern.
* Two -v pregnancy tests & no findings in USG scan suggest that you don't have pregnancy.That is why embryo can not be detected in scan.
* The cause of pregnancy symptoms along with absent periods can be-
- Hormonal imbalance causing pregnancy like symptoms & irregular periods( PCOD, Thyroid problems, ovarian problems )
- Psychological assumption of being pregnant ( out of strong desire to conceive) can produce pregnancy like symptoms due to hormonal changes in body being influenced by psychology. ( pseudosiasis/ pseudo pregnancy)
* Your doctor has given you tab. Deviry 10 for getting to treat your irregular period,for unless you get periods normally- there won't be chance of conception in future.
please be positive, believe your doctor & take treatment to correct your menstrual pattern- You will conceive thereafter. cheer up!
