my little girl has a bleeding ear 6 months after having grommets put in the doctors said he couldnt see in ear because it was blocked with blood. and gave us antibiotics he said it could be an infection is this right? could there be any other reason for this
Hello, After grommets there is great need to take care of the ears as there is opening from middle part of ear to outside so if water enters inside the ear then there will be infection . Bleeding should not have happened , either some cleaning has been done. BUt it is better to take antibiotics and antihistaminics with decongestants to resolve the problem. In doubt do reply.
