Why Is Robaxin Prescribed?
What does robaxin do? I have had back pain for the past 10 years, sometimes severe, and I assume it is a pain medication. I also now have a Boston Scientific stimulator in my back as of Jan. 2016 and not longer have to take the heavy duty pain pills that were wrecking my memory.

Robaxin is a muscle relaxant, used to relieve muscle spasms that cause pain.
It is normally prescribed in back pain. It is associated with many side effects, so long term use is not recommended.
