My husband has a bad ringing in his ear. His ear was hurting him a few days ago and we put sweet oil in them and that relieved the pain, but now it will not stop ringing. I looked in his ear with a small flashlight and I can see white towards the back and white on the back. What could be wrong?
Understanding your concern. As per your query your husband have ringing in ears with white substance at back of ear which could be due to ear infection, ear wax accumulation and fluid accumulation inside ear. I would suggest you to put otogesic ear drops. You should take nasal sprays. You should take antibiotic Levofloxacin in combination with antiinflammatory medication. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get otoscopic examination done and start treatment after proper diagnosis. Avoid touching or pricking ear with any sharp object.
