What Causes Ringing In The Ears?

I have noticed ear ringing problem. My ENT sent me for an MRI to see if I have a tumour in the brain. The MRI results states in the last paragraph There is near complete opecification of the right frontal and ethmoidal air cells and partial opacification of the left What does this mean? What treatment options are there? Can it cause ear ringing? Will any surgery resolve the ear ringing problem? I use everyday nasal spray to prevent dripping from the nose.

The MRI report is not at all related to the ringing noise and by itself does not mean anything serious unless you are having symptoms of sinusitis; the steroid spray also should not be required for 3- 6 months at the most.
A hearing test (audiogram) must be done to rule out a hearing loss. Gingko biloba extract might help if the ears are otherwise normal.
Meanwhile try to reduce ear damage by limiting the use of mobile phones and headsets to hear music. Avoid smoking and get yourself checked for high blood pressure, diabetes or thyroid problems.
