Hello Mrs. Mishra.
Welcome to Healthcare Magic forum .
I understand your concern as a worried parent and appreciate your efforts to overcome this problem.
Considering the information you have provided, it does seem that your child has a delayed speech which needs further evaluation and intervention.
Delayed speech in young children can be due to behaviour or pathological problems. Many developmental disorders have speech delay as a symptom .Since you have a thyroid disorder, there is a possibility of it being inherited by your son.The exact cause for the delay of speech and the prognosis i.e when he will speak, can be commented only after confirmation of diagnosis by his pediatrician or child psychologist.
Please do not delay the consultation as the earlier the intervention the better would be the prognosis.
Sometimes mild developmental speech delay may improve with simple measures like behaviour and speech therapy.
So do not worry and get your son evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query.
Wishing your child good health.
Regards
