Why Does The Injured Knee Become Warm While On Synthetic Cartilage Injections?
I have recently injured my knee. I have worn a brace, had a steroid injection and have just begun synthetic cartilege injections. I have experienced greater pain in my leg and tonight the injured leg is warmer than the other one. I have previously had pulmonary embolisms.
Increased pain and warmth following steroid injection into joints concerning for possible infection of joint (septic arthritis). So please follow up with your treating physician or urgent care as soon as possible.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal
