But like other medications this medication has some side effects of its own. It may cause a serious drug reaction which may affect many parts of the body and symptoms are raised body temperature or fever, rash, swollen glands, muscle pain, severe weakness, yellowing of the skin or eyes and unusual bruising. If you experience these serious side effects during taking this medication, then you should stop taking this medication immediately and inform your prescribing doctor promptly for medical help. Again, Crocin contains acetaminophen or paracetamol that is used in the treatment of fever and various painful conditions of the body by preventing the release of prostaglandin, the chemical which is responsible for increasing body temperature and pain.
