Why Does One Feel Sudden Stomach Upset Followed By Loss Of Consciousness?

This is a question I ask for a woman, 55 years old. She told me that she suddenly felt upset stomach and urged to restroom, then she lost consciousness for a short time. When she wakes up she feels normal, no pain or anything. That symptom had happened to her twice within the past 8 months. Please advise.

Hi,

Condition of unconsciousness could be due to orthostatic hypotension (It may not be the pure form of unconsciousness) second it can be vasovagal shock, it can be hypoglycemia, and hysteria, all of that needs differentiation, from the given reasons even single cause is there but it is not the reason to be worried, as long as the medical advise is concern it is better to get done the CT of brain just to rule out the cerebral pathologies and get done the plasma blood sugar.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
