Why Does My Bum Feel Itchy With A Feeling Of Needle Inside?

I was on a taxi and felt my bum itchy and sensations and it's been three days and my bum feels like there is a needle inside and I can hardly move my bum. Could I be pricked by a needle and why is it itchy. I have had sleepless nights thinking I may have contacted HIV. What do I need to do.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain it seems that itching in the bum/butt along with needle feeling inside can be due to causes like Poor hygiene maintenance, over wiping or cleaning, dryness in the anal area, pinworm infection,yeast infection,contact dermatitis or allergic reaction, hemorrhoids, anal fissures etc..

You need to consult a Proctolgist and get evaluated and he can do a clinical evaluatin and also advise investigations like swab culture to look for infections..
As of now you should keep the area clean but avoid vigorous wiping..
Wash the area gently with water and a mild moisturiser based soap..
You should apply Zinc oxide based ointment or Petroleum jelly over the area..
Wear loose fitting and cotton undergarments..
You can also apply steroid ointment to relieve itching but do not use for a long duration for more than ten days to two weeks..
