Why Does It Take Two Years To Reduce Herpes Symptoms?
Why does it typically take up to two years for herpes symptoms to die down? Can I take anything to speed up production of HSV antibodies? I'm in otherwise good shape with a strong immune system, I get very few visible signs of the virus - mainly the problem is the severe urethal tip stinging (just inside) and sporadic nerve 'sparks' shooting down my penis and surrounding area. I'm starting to wonder whether my lack of typical herpes symptoms (ulcers, scabbing etc) works against me. Do antibodies get created faster if the herpes outbreaks are more severe? (in which case, perhaps there is an argument for temporarily lowering my immune system to prompt them into action!?)
