Why do people think Marijuana is harmful when it has medicinal properties?

why do people still think Marijuana is such a harmful substance when it has been proven to have many great medicinal properties? I m not saying it s a miracle substance that has no downside because in the wrong hands it can do a lot of damage but with all the recent studies that have been done that have proved the amazing effects of this herb why do the goverment still feed the population complete and utter lies?

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi there, thanks for asking. It has anti nausea properties, and also anti pain properties. It also increases the appetite. It is prescribed for some people with cancer that cannot eat properly. It also can relieve the pain and so can also be helpful for insomnia in some people. If somebody does not have any issue that were mentioned, there is no need to use this medication. The only reason could be pleasure seeking which is a legitimate one, but it cause addictive behaviour which includes drug seeking behaviour which can consume time, etc. I wish I have been able to answer briefly what you asked.
