Why Do I Have Pimples On My Chest And Back With Dark Skin In My Cleavage?
I have a really dark area between my breasts. Usually, after I sweat, it smells quite bad. I also have painfuls pimples all over my chest, in the cleavage and on my back. But the worst part is that my cleavage's skin is very dark and somewhat wrinkled. I have tried using face washes but it doesn't help. Please suggest a better idea.
I would keep a possibility of Acanthosis Nigricans which is dark velvety skin in the folds like neck folds and cleavage area.
I would like to get a blood sugar test and fasting serum insulin levels in you. It is more prone to develop in obese individuals with insulin resistance.
I normally ask my patients to apply a topical 0.025% tretinoin cream once daily in the night on the patches.
For acne you need to be put on either oral Doxycycline or Azithromycin for 4-12 weeks depending on the severity
Topical Benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel twice daily can used over the chest and trunk areas affected with acne.
take care regards
