Why Do I Bleed With Stools?

Hi, when I go to bathroom to go number two, I bleed a lot, not all the time, but more often now. It' bright red, and seems a lot like I'm on my period, but except i'm not and blood is some from the anus. It hurts a little, like there is an anal tear or something, and maybe the pressure causes it. But I'm really scared, hope its not something terminal.. !

Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern.
Most rectal bleeding comes from the
colon,
rectum, or
anus and can be associated with diarrhea.
I suggest you to do a colonoscopy for a proper diagnose and treatment.
Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help, thanks!
