Why Am I Having Irregular Periods?
Hi, my name is Sharnika. 1st off I ve been off depo since Oct. I got my 1st period june 6-9 which was normal. Had unprotected sex on the 15 or 16. Then spotted on the 20-21. Nothing since and its Aug. 4th. all hpt neg. Even had an ultrasound about 2wks ago and there was nothing. Now I m about 28 days late.

Depo injections are known to cause delay or irregular periods for few months post removal. Hence, it is better to use barrier contraceptive until your periods regularize as you cannot be sure of your ovulation until then, unless you are planning for pregnancy.
