Why Am I Experiencing Pressure Pain In My Knee?

Hi the other day as I went for lunch I guess I must been walking fast or moved wrong. Cause now my right knee feels like there is some kind of presure. Its not the knee bone that hurts, but right next to it. I sit most of the time at my job I am a receptionist and I am not over weight. I iced the knee last night so I am experinceing that presure feeling pain so bad today. Do you think I moved in a certain way where I strained it.?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symposium seems to be related to pain in the knees due to overuse. I suggest using anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain.

I also suggest to rest and avoid further overuse of the knees for some days. I also recommend cold compresses at the area.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
