Why Am I Feeling Lightheaded During My Pregnancy?

Lately I have felt really lightheaded almost to the point to where i think im going to faint. It feels like i have pressure in my head and i get tingling and numbness in my face, usually the lower part. I am also 26 weeks pregnant. When I get this lightheadness i sometimes also feel like im going to puke.

Hi, thank you for asking healthcare magic
I understand your concerns.
Actually, during pregnancy, there is an increase in blood (plasma) volume without a corresponding increase in other components or blood like blood cells and electrolytes. This leads to dilution (called hemodilution) producing conditions like anemia and others related to low concentrations of some electrolytes.
The symptoms you are experiencing might be linked to anemia or low calcium levels. I think you need to be placed on iron and calcium supplements.

I hope that answers your query
I wish you well
